Circle of Care
What is the His Voice Global Circle of Care?
If you've been a part of our ministry for a while, it's likely that you know it's the term we use to describe our "whole person approach" to providing care for the vulnerable. The term first came to life in Sudan and South Sudan over 20 years ago, and has now spread to Kenya and Uganda. In South Sudan, the students who were once cared for as vulnerable orphan children are now starting to graduate as university and trade school students in Uganda. With your help, encouragement, and financial support, these young people are nearing the end of the circle. In Kenya, young boys and girls are entering the circle as we provide care, housing, and education for those whose mothers have been victims of the sex trade. And, in Uganda, we are providing food, clean water, medical care, and housing improvements to the vulnerable, many of whom have a physical disability.
What may start as a way to meet a physical need grows to touch every part of a person's development as we work to restore foundational relationships with God, self, others, and the rest of creation. Watch the video as Co-Founder Amber Burger talks about the Circle of Care.
