If you have been following along with our social media and website journal posts recently, you know that we have been discussing some lessons learned in the first half of 2020.

This month we’ve heard how ministry is continuing at His Voice Global even as our staff adjusts to local social distancing and quarantine requirements. We’ve heard updates from our Discipleship Team, our Kenya ministry, and had several updates from Uganda including reports on our work with sequestered students and on creative ways to involve the community in Arua as we continue to plan for the build-out of the Arise Discipleship & Retreat Center.

One year ago HVG and our partners had just over 60 pastors and church leaders being discipled through our Foundation of Hope training curriculum. We have seen this number more than triple since last year with a significant increase in instructors who have started new discipleship groups in their regions.

The new CARES (Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security) Act is designed to help both businesses and nonprofits facing economic challenges during the coronavirus pandemic. We thought it might be beneficial to share a few key provisions of the CARES Act, and some other thoughts about giving in these days that may affect you and your charitable goals.
