Are you in a difficult situation today? Has someone insulted you or wronged you? Maybe you haven’t been wronged in any way, but you are just going through a tough season that has blasted your world.
I pray you would be encouraged by this thought process…
Instead of your first question being, “How should I handle this situation?” Let your first question be, “Jesus, what do you think about this situation?”
I am not saying we shouldn’t ask how to handle a situation, it’s just not a good FIRST question. It’s a great second or third question.
Here is the reason why I think our first question should be, “Jesus, what do you think about this situation?”
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. (Gal. 2:20)
Jesus cares more about you than you could ever care about your self at your most self absorbed state. Run to Him. Ask Him how He would handle your situation. Find promises in the Word that give you confidence to walk in His ways.
