Expanding to India in 2010 was the culmination of a 5 year prayer period.
We have currently partnered with an incredible couple, Nabin and Matilda. They have a calling to go into Howrah Train Station and minister to the children who live there.
The goal is for these children to come out of the violence in Howrah and live at the home that Nabin and Matilda lead out on.
The focus of the home is to give holistic discipleship that allows these boys to get an education, be ministered to from the scars of life they have incurred, and also be equipped to go and make disciples of all nations.
One focus of His Voice is to lead out in finding places to minister overseas, identify a local church that can help with the oversight, then get the local overseas church to team up with a lead church over here in the States. When this happens we willingly take a secondary role at His Voice. We help to equip the local church from the logistics of ministering overseas to theological training that will help to equip a local church to lead out.
In the case of India, The Ring Community Church of Baton Rouge, LA. has taken the lead role. We took them over to Kolkata and now we are in the process of helping to find other churches that would want to team up with them in order to minister to these incredible boys.
